about me

I work with watercolors, graphics, and illustrations in mixed techniques. I was born and grew up in Kyiv, Ukraine, and now live and work in Berlin. My artist experience came after my 30s without a formal art education. I studied graphic design at the Institute of Business and Design B&D in Moscow, typefaces, and typography under the guidance of Tagir Safaev. Also, I completed a master's degree in book illustration under the direction of Mikhail Sorkin at the National Institute of Design in Moscow in 2022. Watercolor portraits are my self-expression through diving into my inner experience, observing it from the outside, and connecting my perception with the environment. I believe that all people, without exception, are talented and able to source their talent from their unique inner world, into which it is sometimes scary to look. But that's where the personality is.
